Magnetics and Electro-Mechanical Sales Engineer/Manager

Visiontech Solutions Group (VSG) Corporate Headquarters is searching for a full time Magnetics and Electro-Mechanical Field Sales Engineer/Sales Manager.

VSG is a dynamic solutions provider that provides customers with a full range of standard and custom products as well as engineering services, manufacturing, integration and supply chain solutions. From prototype to new product introduction, supply chain solutions to life-cycle management, VSG works closely with their customers to provide world-class custom solutions for their individual needs.

VSG is conveniently located between Charlottesville and Richmond near Zion Crossroads.


  • Identify, develop and gain new customers.

  • Facilitate demand creation and immediate demand fulfillment.

  • Technical Support for various products and product lines

  • Develop marketing plans and sales generation programs.

  • Support design tasks including requirements analysis, specification validation, interface definitions, and component verification with Supplier support personnel.

  • Contribute positively to a work environment that emphasizes teamwork, respect for differences, accepting and giving constructive feedback, creating opportunity, serving others, building trust, innovation and exceeding expectations.

  • Communicate information in a way that demonstrates a basic understanding of supply chain work, the specific scope and nature of project, and VSG’s culture, values, and practices.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.


Qualifications Required:

  • BSME or 5 years equivalent related work experience.

  • Must bring strong Existing Customer Base currently using Magnetics (Inductors, Thermistors, Coils, Chokes, Transformers, etc)

  • Experience servicing a Customer Base of $5M+ Annually

  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills essential.

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly master new tasks.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and provide leadership on multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.

  • Demonstrated independent thinking, judgment, and respect for others.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity. 

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English required.
